Starting out in the private sector can be incredibly daunting, but it is also an opportunity to take ownership over your work and polish your individual style as a practitioner.

My private practice developed over time with the help from some incredible mentors and teachers. I consider every single client to also be an important teacher and I have kept a detailed log of my experiences, including learning which I wish I had known before starting my venture.

I have invested in continued professional development (CPD) in both psychology and business and marketing in order to establish myself as an independent practitioner. 

It is for these reasons that I am well placed to offer supervision to recently qualified psychotherapists or those starting out in the private sector. As well as offering clinical supervision and case support, I can provide guidance around the practical aspects of setting yourself up in the sector; offering the security you often need whilst finding your own firm footing.
